Politics, media and freedom

In terms of swaying public opinion, media has far too much power. Because we as people demand to be entertained instead of informed, media has lost their ability to speak the truth, because the lie sells better, and exhaggeration gets more viewers. So as we watch political commentary, we are not getting the truth and its our own fault. We have finally chosen slavery over freedom in this country.
