It's been a while

As we move into this 2012 election cycle, I find it really interesting that the important issue is the economy, and yet the progressives have been able to use gay rights to prevent the economy from coming up in national dialog.  Even without a leg to stand on when it comes to really important things, the progressives still control the conversation.  The republicans need to get their act together.
